January 15[edit]

Name of horror movie[edit]

EDIT: Oh I found the name, it was called Identity, made in 2003. Could anyone point me to a detailed synopsis of the plot? Acceptable (talk) 02:07, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Identity (film) article has a brief plot summary and links to IMDB and the Official site. Astronaut (talk) 05:36, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name of song in flash video[edit]

I know I've heard this song before, but the name and artist eludes me. Perhaps one of you good folks could help me? (WARNING: video likely to induce an epilectic fit): http://zzt.belsambar.net/nadir/tanzmitmir.swf Thanks in advance. 216.178.50.128 (talk) 07:34, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well... Dreamhost is down, so until then, I guess we'll have to wait for the problem to fix itself before you can experience the flash video in all its seizure-inducing goodness. :/ 216.178.50.128 (talk) 00:05, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quad City DJ's - Space Jam (Super Slam Mix). Apparently, that specific version of the song was mixed together by whoever originated its use in flash videos, so it's not on any official releases. However, lyrics and an mp3 are available! [1] Poechalkdust (talk) 05:05, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Movie Bomb[edit]

Has it happened recently where a wide-scale movie bombed so much in theatres that the studios did not bother to release it on VHS or DVD? Croat Canuck If I were from Laos, The Laotian Croatian would fit 19:19, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well some didn't bomb, but Canuck -> google --> "movies that never made it to vhs" --> last link on first page by reviews.ebay.com. Glad to help --Niyant (talk) 00:58, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish version of "Be with You"[edit]

In which Enrique Iglesias album appears the Spanish version of the song "Be with You" titled "Solo Me Importas Tú", and where I can found the lyrics of "Solo Me Importas Tú"? David Pro (talk) 20:03, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From our Be With You article, and from some searching I did, it looks like the Spanish language version was only released as a single. You should be able to find the lyrics very easily by using Google with the song name and the word "lyrics". --LarryMac | Talk 20:11, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The link of the lyrics of this song is this. David Pro (talk) 20:17, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MTV Unplugged version of "María"[edit]

The version of the Ricky Martin song "María" that appears in his MTV Unplugged album is similar to the version that appears in A Medio Vivir? David Pro (talk) 20:10, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

disney dvd[edit]

how come it says on amazon.ca that snow white and the seven dwarfs is 85 bucks?! like, honsetly...its just a dvd! better yet, how come all disney dvd's (especially platinum series) are hard to find? amazon.com is the only possible place to get them.69.31.216.242 (talk) 23:50, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think they deliberately limit supply to make the price increase. Particularly the one you mention which is a limited edition with lots of additional features/things. Due to the collectability of disney merchandise This web-site (http://www.ultimatedisney.com/pinocchio.html) seems to suggest that the Pinnochio dvd is out of print, which would explain (if similarly snow-white is limited release) the increased price. I'd love to find an article on the issue though as i'm sure i've come across something about this before but forget where. ny156uk (talk) 00:26, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On the same site (http://www.ultimatedisney.com/FAQ.htm), it seems basically they limit supply thus increasing the sale-price. ny156uk (talk) 00:31, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You might look on ebay or other auction sites to see if anybody has one for sale. But ny156uk is right, Disney puts their films out on DVD for limited times, then jerks them back so that they can control their availability. Corvus cornixtalk 23:51, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
