Richard Avedon photo of the Beatles released to public domain?[edit]
Did Look Magazine dedicate to the public all rights it possessed to Richard Avedon's Beatles photos?--The lorax (talk) 20:32, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- If you read the full text of the press release, probably not. It states "copyright to some photographs in this collection may be retained by the actual creators or their heirs" in one place, and "copyrights to photographs in the collection that were not produced as "work for hire" by LOOK staff photographers may be retained by the photographer or his/her heirs." I am pretty sure Avedon was not an employee of Look Magazine when he took those photos, so they would not be considered "works for hire", instead he probably sold and lisenced them for specific use in a specific issue of Look, and are the sorts of photos that it means when it says "copyrights...may be retained by the photographer or his/her heirs." --Jayron32 06:20, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Animorphs[edit]
Where can I watch animorphs season 2 episodes online for free?
- I don't think we're supposed to answer questions like that here. You should just look around yourself.

Current pop/tango song with chorus "hey yo" or something like that[edit]
On tonight's "Strickly Come Dancing" episode in the UK, there was a tango to a song with lyrics containing a chorus something like "hey yo" or similar. It's a fairly popular song in that I've heard it before maybe on the radio or in a bar. Does anyone know what song I am talking about? EdwinHJ | Talk 21:58, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Only thing I can think of is Snow ((Hey Oh)) Chaosandwalls (talk) 22:01, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- A relatively recent pop song with a similar chorus would be Jai Ho by the Pussycat Dolls. Also it could be Hey Ya! by OutKast. Those are the closest examples I can think of.
