The TARDIS at stonehenge looking for context
[edit]I was visiting stonehenge in May of 2008, and the audio tour on one of the stops mentioned that the next stop was next to the TARDIS, I have been trying to figure this out for years, was there ever a TARDIS model at stonehenge, or was this added as a joke?
Thank You —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.120.37.243 (talk) 10:26, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, there has certainly been at least one Doctor Who episode filmed at Stonehenge (The Pandorica Opens), but this surely can't have been filming at the time. What was actually at the next stop? 86.163.212.182 (talk) 16:51, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
The next stop was where the path compleated the circit around the henge it was #7 the marker is visable on google street viewto the north west of the henge near the road after the 90 degree turn.

- The TARDIS is presented as a phone booth. Was there a phone booth there at Stonehenge? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 07:19, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
No there was nothing, That's why I asked incase there was one there at some point, that was later removed and the audio tour was not updated.76.120.37.243 (talk) 08:48, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Models on Exile on Main Strret
[edit]When The Rolling Stones released their LP Exile on Main Street in 1972, they included in the album about 12 postcards featuring themselves in the company of two attractive young women in elegant attire. I presume they are models. Does anyone have a clue who they are? Thank you.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 14:54, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Not at that small size. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 07:18, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- No answers, but there is an interesting discussion thread, with the original postcards, here. The photos were taken by Norman Seeff, and there is more information here about a meeting between the band, art director John Van Hamersveld and record company boss Marshall Chess to discuss the artwork: "Marshall has Norman’s images from the late night photo shoot. They are the sequences where Keith arrives at the very last minute for the shoot. Everyone had been waiting for him to show, and then he arrives with his pants hanging off his butt. With Keith’s arrival, the group is now ready to go on with Norman’s session (“This is a one-time shot!” someone says). Lights, smoke, and confetti is readied, it all begins and a sequence is attempted but then, by accident, Keith began to fall all over the set, creating a disaster. All else fails and our budget has now been used up.... Suddenly Keith says from across the edge of the table, “Make some postcards,” showing us with his hands an accordion-folded-style collection of postcards. He then proceeds to almost lose his balance and fall over onto the rug. I say to Mick, “Let’s take that as an idea and do it.” He agrees and Marshall says, “Done”." - Thank you ever so much, Ghmyrtle!--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 09:09, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- It appears that one of the women in the postcards was groupie Chris O'Dell. I can only conclude that the other woman was also a groupie.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 12:58, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Just out of interest, where did you get that info from? Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:18, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Answering my own question - here? ... etc. etc. on other pages. She even has her own site! (But no article here....) Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:20, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, she does not say she posed for the postcards just the photo on the back of the LP. So I am not sure if we have the answer yet. I assume those girls on the postards were groupies and not professional catwalk models.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 14:19, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Youtube singer arthur voice actor?
[edit]Is Erika hanson, the youtube singer the voice of one of the aliens in both of the arthur snowball episodes? I was trying to find that out and i came across that name, i searched it, and it brought up a singer, who sounds just like the girl alien in those episodes. Is that her? If not, who is it? If you can't find who she is, at least tell me who voices the aliens in the episodes. I know in the boy who cried comet that it was bruce dinsmore, but i don't know who voices both aliens in DW's snow mystery and return of the snowball I suspect that Erika hanson is the voice of the girl, as her voice has similar qualities to the voice behind the girl alien. Please confirm this asap. thanks. 204.112.104.172 (talk) 15:46, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Are there no messageboards devoted to this show that you could visit? You ask essentially the same questions over and over and over. → ROUX ₪ 15:53, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
If there was one that i knew existed, i woulden't ask here. This question is diferent then the one i asked above. That one is about the effect they do on the person's voice, which is like pitch shifting and layoring, but this question is does a youtube singer, localy known as Erika Hanson voice the aliens in the snowball episode of arthur? I know she voices Rachael on what's with andy, and the youtube singer, Rachael from what's with andy, and the alien sound similar. 204.112.104.172 (talk) 17:22, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
