[edit]Name of news reporter/correspondent on 20/20
[edit]I am trying to find the name of a news reporter (or correspondent). I believe he works on the 20/20 TV show (or possibly another similar show like Dateline). He is a rather young guy (probably in his 30's), with black or brown hair. He was the reporter when 20/20 (or Dateline or whichever program it was) did a special report on the Catt family bank robberies. This episode aired within the past 3 or 4 weeks or so. The segment was entitled "All in the Family" (or something similar). Does anyone know? Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 22:34, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- I think this is a video of at least part of the segment you're talking about. Dismas|(talk) 23:01, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- If that's right, then going through the list of on-air staff at 20/20 (U.S. TV series), then I'm going to say that it's David Muir that you're thinking of.
- By the way, I've found this just by searching the 'net for "Catt family 20/20" and that got me the video. After that, I just looked at our article and search for images of each of the on-air staff that are men until one looked like the man in the video. Dismas|(talk) 23:03, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, in that video, that is definitely the guy I am referring to. He appears at 0:02 on that video. (When I searched the internet, using a similar search as yours, I came up with different videos from ABC and not that one.) In any event, that man in the video (at 0:02) is definitely not David Muir. David Muir is this guy here ([1]) and here ([2]). Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 23:25, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- My apologies, I looked too quickly. But at least now others have a video clip to see who you're talking about. Dismas|(talk) 01:10, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Google Imaging "ABC correspondents", it looks like it might be Matt Gutman. It's not altogether easy to tell, because when you hit "Pause" it doesn't freeze-frame. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:28, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, Matt Gutman is his name. That's exactly correct. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 20:38, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
Google Images etc.
[edit]Speaking of which, it looks like Google Images has made a recent change, to where if you have a long list of items, it keeps going back to the top of the page, instead of positioning at the item you were just on. What's up with that? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:30, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'm only seeing that oddity on IE, not on Firefox, so it must be Google's interaction with IE that's weird. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 06:16, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
