Tuning a four string cigar box guitar GDGB[edit]
Hi there. I bought a cigar box guitar. I have some ambiguity about the numbering of the strings. I hope first G is the lowest string, yes?[1] Thanks, - AboutFace 22 (talk) 00:13, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- There appears to be no set tuning - see the article Cigar box guitar which gives several possibilities. Wymspen (talk) 01:03, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- That's not the question, though. When majuscule and minuscule are used in pitch notation, majuscule is the lower octaves. (And that's why I didn't say "upper case means lower octaves".)
