October 26[edit]

I forgot the name of the following well known musical piece[edit]

G4 B4 D5 D4

G4 B4 D5 D4

G4 G4 B4 B4 D5 D5 E5 D5 F5 D5 E5

D5

and so forth...

Every tone, in the first line, the second line, and the fourth line, has a full duration. Every tone in the third line, has a half duration.

Alternatively, a link (on Youtube and likewise) may help. 2A06:C701:7458:A500:4DF9:F6D3:76C5:FCA5 (talk) 13:15, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is a perfect question for Musipedia where you input the above data yourself an get an immediate response. Shantavira|feed me 13:43, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you had duration, it would be much easier to identify. I can play it as a waltz of triplets. I can play it as a march. I can play it as a swing piece. I have no idea what rhythim is in your head when you only mention the notes. 97.82.165.112 (talk) 12:54, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
