Who was the first female U.S. elector?[edit]

Who was the first woman to be appointed/elected as an elector in the U.S. Electoral College? JoelleJay (talk) 01:19, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently Helen J. Scott of the Progressive Party in 1912. --Antiquary (talk) 10:45, 8 November 2020 (UTC) Although, now I look further, there may have been other female electors for the Progressive Party in 1912. Florence Collins Porter is named as the first here. --Antiquary (talk) 10:59, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Cool! Thanks! JoelleJay (talk) 20:01, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
