How can anyone forget

[edit]

to mention Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's death anniversary at "on this day" section ?? He is the father of modern Turkey since October 29th., 1923. -- 194.180.58.152

So why don't YOU add it? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots12:21, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Non-administrators cannot add items to main page sections. The OTD section rotates various birth and death days; among the millions of people who died on this date, not everyone can be mentioned, so while Ataturk may appear in some years, he does not appear every year. --Jayron32 12:35, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's not in a fit state to appear in the MP, due to the orange tag at Mustafa Kemal Atatürk#Balkan Pact. Once that has been addressed and the tag removed, it can be considered. Mjroots (talk) 12:43, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
However, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day did get a mention on 19 May. Alansplodge (talk) 12:47, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
