Starbase Indy needs review for removal of new unreviewed article template

[edit]

Hello, I've worked on this article and received some advice on sources and inline references. I think I've moved it correctly to live space. I would appreciate someone reviewing it to see if the "new unreviewed article template" can be removed. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you. Yes, someone beat you to it, but I appreciate your taking the time to patrol it, just to be sure nothing was missing. Thanks again! Janeway 1701 Janeway1701 (talk) 15:45, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just checking to see if article is ok.

Wanted to ask if there was anything else to add/change before I made this stub live.

I think the article needs to be made more simplified, so the average reader can understand. You can do this by adding more links or adding more descriptive/summarising text. I hope you understand this :) Chevymontecarlo - alt 18:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page is for article feedback. Please try the reference desk.  Chzz  ►  20:37, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is a new page. Please tell me how i can improve the quality. It is a stub but i expect a few more people to contribute. The "this article is a stub" box can be added if necessary.

It needs at least some references to independent, reliable sources (e.g. newspapers) to be made a live article, otherwise it might be deleted. See WP:VRS, WP:GNG.  Chzz  ►  20:40, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does this look like an adequate topic and beginning for a new wiki page?

Bradhfeldman (talk) 22:11, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It would require references, to independent reliable sources.

For how to add them, see WP:CITE.
The list of external links is not appropriate, see WP:EL.
Please review WP:FIRST. Articles must show why the subject is notable, with appropriate references.  Chzz  ►  20:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The links to the referenced articles should be part of the reference itself - I've had a go at adding some, so please look at this edit, and see if they're the right links, and if you can fix others.
The format for an external links is, for example, [http://www.google.com Google] - which appears as:

Google

Therefore, a reference can be e.g....

I hope that helps.  Chzz  ►  21:04, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
