October 24[edit]

00:59:04, 24 October 2014 review of submission by DDlb5[edit]

DDlb5 (talk) 00:59, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How do I fix the date issues that have been highlighted in the sources?

To editor DDlb5: I've fixed some of them. The problem was extra commas. The code only accepts commas between day and year: October 24, 2014, but October 2014 and October 24.
There's one more, though: 10-24 needs to be a full date. I'm not sure if the dates on the website are correct, however: Currently, it says that "Tonight's Show" is Thursday 10/25, even though Thursday was the 23rd. 01:44:10, 24 October 2014 review of submission by Pratyusha Dahal[edit]

Pratyusha Dahal (talk) 01:44, 24 October 2014 (UTC) Why is my article rejected? please let me know the shortcomings of my article.[reply]

@Pratyusha Dahal: Please read the reason on the draft. You have provided only general references and not the in-line citations we need for a biographical article. The references you did list aren't about the subject, they just make passing mention of him. Without several independent and reliable sources or a claim of notability, we can't accept the article. Please may I know why my draft Wikipedia entry concerning my old school was considered unacceptable? Wyvern4859 (talk) 05:54, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Wyvern4859: The reason is on the draft. You provided no sources, which is not allowed. Chris Troutman (talk) 06:30, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please advise what is required to improve the article in order to have this submission accepted. This has been pending since August 15. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Sarah Stone

Hi Sarah. It looks like your draft was accepted two days ago, and is now at Tim Neufeld (singer). Arthur goes shopping (talk) 13:16, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

18:00:11, 24 October 2014 review of submission by Rich489[edit]

Hi, I just made a draft article today on ESNA news agency but now that its finished there is a message at the top saying, This is a misplaced articles for creation submission. If it is not yet ready for article space, please consider moving it to project space rather than marking it for deletion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESNA_European_Higher_Education_News). I think that's why it's also not showing up under my username above. I have had a look online about moving pages but its a little confusing and seems to need an autoconfirmed user, which I am not. Please could you advise me what to do or what I can do? Thanks Rich489 (talk) 18:00, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have assumed that your intent was to create it as an article, not as a draft, so I have deleted the banner. If you would prefer it to be a draft that can be reverted and the article moved to Draft: space. You only have to ask. Fiddle Faddle 20:14, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would truly appreciate it if someone could kindly review my draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Kezia_Noble#KEZIA_NOBLE

I understand there is a backlog of Articles for review and I patiently waited for months before anyone could review my Article, and now I have re-submitted it, made all necessary changes and would be very thankful if anybody would kindly take some time out to review it. Thank you! 95.150.55.221 (talk) 22:36, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I just now tried to review this. I failed because it has such a very large number of sources of which some are just press release material intended to promote the person, such as "Worlds leading Dating Coach for men is causing a stir" which is taken directly from PRWeb. Remove all such promotional and non-independent sources, and you may find this will make it easier for people to review the draft (and maybe even accept it).
