- Hi M.Shoaib Anwar. More important than how to write about a person is who to write about. Wikipedia is not Facebook or LinkedIn, where anyone can write about themselves. There are more than 7 billion people on Earth; each of them has a story. Only a miniscule percentage of them are notable - remarkable enought to justify an encyclopedia article about them. A few examples of well-written biographies are: Charles Inglis (engineer), Emmy Noether, Norman Selfe, Joseph Francis Shea, Zhang Heng, and Otto Julius Zobel. Wondering what is status of photos being accepted for profile on Larry Thompson (humorist)and Penny Thompson. Miami Herald set up a new user account as instructed and emailed letter to wikicommons clearning its copyrights to both photos. This was more than a month ago.
