Description
[edit]The issue at hand is that all articles related to the Old Catholic Church are blatantly biased either towards the Old Catholic or Roman Catholic points of view, making neutrality impossible. In brief summary, the Old Catholics are a Dutch group who split with Rome due to conflicts over the Jansenist philosophy. By the view of the Vatican, this is a schismatic church, while Old Catholic maintain that they were intruded on by Rome unjustly. I propose putting all the articles together and re-writing them to maintain neutrality, portraying both OCC views and RC views. Articles on Islam and other Eastern faiths can serve as examples of this proposed neutrality. Stew312856 (talk) 03:19, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]Any particular reason you couldn't just do that? It doesn't sound like you're going to have hundreds, much less thousands, of articles, and that's what we're usually looking for in a WikiProject.
If you need a place to talk to other people, couldn't you join WP:WikiProject Christianity instead of creating an entirely new project? WhatamIdoing (talk) 22:59, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
