The WikiProject France collaboration is a coordinated effort by WikiProject France to improve Wikipedia's France and French-related content. However, being a member of WikiProject France is not a prerequisite for participation in this collaboration (nor, of course, is participation a requirement for membership in the WikiProject). All registered Wikipedia editors, regardless of their level of expertise on the subject, are welcome to contribute.
Nomination criteria
[edit]- Please only nominate France-related articles that you feel need improvement. If articles close to FA-status need improvement, please request a peer review at the French WikiProject.
- Please ensure that the article exists at least as a stub. If you are making a request for a non-existent article, please do it at Wikipedia:WikiProject France/Article requests.
- Giving good reasons will help others in supporting your nomination.
- Select articles that interest a wider community of editors rather than those that attract only a small number of people.

Voting
[edit]A vote or a show of support for an article shows your commitment to support and aid in collaborating on that specific article if it is chosen. Although you are not required to fulfill that commitment, we ask that you only support articles that you are able to contribute to so that this collaboration's goals of expanding and improving articles can adequately be achieved.
Please add only support votes. Opposing votes will not affect the result, as the winner is simply the one with the most support votes (see Approval voting).
Selection
[edit]- The article with the highest number of votes at the end of each month will be selected as that month's collaboration. In case of a tie, the candidate that was nominated first wins.
- At any given time, a maximum of four candidates must be open for voting. Please do not nominate additional articles when four nominations are already present.
