Another one of these lists. I believe it includes all the most recent A-Class and Featured List Class recommendations made by fellow editors for a number of lists of Knight's Cross recipients. Please provide feedback. Thanks for your time. MisterBee1966 (talk) 10:13, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Support I have reviewed several of these lists for ACR and FAC in the last few months and this article incorporates all of my recommendations from previous article reviews. Well done once again. Peacemaker67 (send... over) 11:49, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Support; even I, in my most nitpicky state couldn't find anything to improve before support :)
- Random, unimportant comments:
- last name; for some reason use of this felt stifled, rather than "surname"
- Oak Leaves and Swords; 32 presentations were made posthumously; I think the semicolon here is misplaced - do these two clauses relate to each other (i.e. were all of those posthumous awards to those who received the higher honours only)? As you note 32 Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and 32 posthumous awards - a reader might get confused.
- The sequential numbers greater than 843; a little confusing given what you said earlier (The same numbering paradigm...) suggested the numbering for higher grades was also officially endorsed. I'm not sure exactly what you are saying.
- No sequential number in the table? Given the importance you attach to it in the prose that seems odd.
Great article. --Errant (chat!) 08:35, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Support This is yet another excellent article in this impressive series. I have a few minor comments though:
- "Tasked with the leadership of the II./Grenadier-Regiment 407" - how does this differ from being the unit's commander?
- Sorry for having to point to the de:M.d.F.b. (German Wiki) article here. Tasked with the leadership denotes the temporary assignment of a person until the "official" commander is appointed. MisterBee1966 (talk) 15:43, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- "Rifle grenade launcher in the 7./Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 6" - the term 'rifle grenade launcher' is normally applied to the weapon. I'd suggest replacing this with 'rifle grenadier' or similar Nick-D (talk) 10:15, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- His German position was Gewehrgranatenschütze which translates to "rifle grenade shooter/launcher". I am open to suggestions. MisterBee1966 (talk) 15:46, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
