SUMMARY • TO DO • LOGOS • MEMBERS • VECTORIZED FILES Summary Welcome to WikiProject SVG backlog cleanup task force! If you wish to join, just write your name in the right column! The scope of this task force is, in this priority order, to: Clear Category:SVGs for cleanup. Put all files in Category:Images that should be in SVG format in their appropriate subcategory. Category:Other images that should be in SVG format should almost be empty. Vectorize all free images in Category:Images that should be in SVG format and upload the results to Wikimedia Commons. Vectorize fair use images in Category:Fairuse images that should be in SVG format. This is part of the move of free images to commons. Logos When creating SVG versions of official logos, consider: Searching Google with the syntax: [site:example.com filetype:pdf] and extract logo from pdf or: Searching Google with the syntax: [example company filetype:pdf] and extract logo from pdf or: Search for the logo on brandsoftheworld.com. NOTE: Brands of the world isn't always reliable. Double check the logo with the company/organization website. Remember: Logos that consist of simple geometric shapes and text are considered public domain and should therefore be marked {{PD-textlogo}} and be moved to Wikimedia Commons.
