A team from the University of Virginia School of Data Science is presenting Scholia for Education, a presentation of the Wikipedia tool Scholia as it profiles academic data related to education research. Wikipedia is a highly consulted source of information on all sorts of topics including in education. Complementing Wikipedia, Wikidata is in the process of indexing the entirety of academic literature in a free and open collection for use on the open web. Attendees of this event will see how Scholia profiles topics in education and provides an option for global access to information in this field.

No preparation or prior Wikipedia experience required!
