Thanks for your work[edit]

The article on Predator-prey reversal has been a joy to watch grow. Maggie Spring and Halelc have done a great job. Looking forward to seeing more great work from this class. Thank you, Pflugi. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:55, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Now please fix your work?[edit]

OK, @MoRea: @Helen Purdy: @Williaja135: and @Samschillerprod:: Your edits to Indian Half-bred, while generally very helpful, need some fixes. It would be good of you to fix this so that I or another wikipedia editor don't have to clean up after you. Montanabw(talk) 06:43, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  1. The infobox has extra lettering: [[file: "Modern Polo".jpg|frameless|alt=]] Try to remove that please. I believe that infobox just needs you to put "Modern Polo".jpg without the usual image formatting.
  2. Per WP:OVERLINK, you don't need to link nations and you only need to link a term once, at first occurrence (e.g. Thoroughbred. Please unlink those.
  3. You may find the {{hands}} template useful for horse articles. For example, typing {{hands|15.2}} will render as 15.2 hands (62 inches, 157 cm) and {{hands|15|-|16}} will render as 15–16 hands (60–64 inches, 152–163 cm). It's very cool!
  4. Wikiproject equine has a standardized format for horse articles, so please remove the "physical traits" subheader. It wasn't helpful given the relatively short section. Though a separate subsection for temperament could be added, it's generally poor form to do so for only one paragraph.
  5. Comparing the old and new versions of the article here please note it is poor form to remove sourced material, particularly the Edwards 165 cite that began the "Characteristics" section. EggVan is actually a much poorer source than Edwards.
  6. Though consistent with existing formatting, I'd advise for future articles that you use the {{citeweb}} template.
  7. Finally, I ran a copyright checker, and you have a small amount of "close paraphrasing" see here that you will want to fix.

Good luck with your future endeavors. Montanabw(talk) 06:57, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
