Cleaning
[edit]I'm currently doing some cleaning of the list. I'm trying to do some searching for sources while I do this and post them here. If I can't really find any/enough or if they're all trade reviews, I'm removing the books from the list. If I can find a couple that are of very good sources and/or the book has something that would assert more notability, I'm leaving it on the list. The sources I'm posting are by no means the only sources out there, but I figured that they'd be a good head start for more searching. It doesn't mean that the books ultimately pass notability guidelines, just that there was just enough out there to where it wouldn't merit being instantly removed. Unfortunately what I'm running into are books or series where the author has a page, but there's not enough to assert notability for a separate page (or in some instances, requests for individual books in a series where the series already has a page). - On a side note, I'd really, really like to ask that people take into consideration that only a very few people actively respond to requests on this board. By this I mean that there aren't an overly abundant amount of editors that are creating these articles, so if you have an account, don't have a conflict of interest, and a passing ability to create articles, it may be faster and easier to create the articles yourself. I don't want to overly discourage people from making requests, just to keep in mind that progress on this list is very slow. That's why I'm trying to clean it up, since it'll make it easier for myself and other editors to look at what needs to be created and what is likely to pass notability guidelines for books. I'd also like to very politely ask that people please look over our notability guidelines for books. I'm seeing a lot of books that haven't received a lot of coverage, such as independent and self-published books. I'd also like to ask that if something is particularly obscure, that you please include as many sources as you can. I'm running into an issue with obscure and older books where sourcing may be out there, but it's near to impossible to find anything anymore. Just keep in mind that if we can't find the sources then odds are the page won't get made. I don't mean to sound WP:BITE-y, but if you can't find sources and/or find the page to difficult to create, odds are that we won't be able to make it either- please be considerate! This is why it's so important to try to include what sources you can find! Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:42, 22 November 2014 (UTC)
A Girl Named Sooner
[edit]I got here by following a list of pages wanted that connect to the redlink Suzanne Clauser. I just recently created a page for the movie version of A Girl Named Sooner (1975), and don't know if you want the change the link on this page to a needed book version.--Varkman (talk) 12:02, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Almenranufch und edelmeiss
[edit]I just added the name under the U section but as I cant speak german and only have a copy of the book, however I think it may be the inspiration for the 1928 and 1957 films of the same name. Bossburns (talk) 02:06, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
