Newspapers

[edit]

Sorry if this happened ages ago, but what happened to the list of British newspapers? All that is there now are new york times and sheffield star... - • | Đܧ§§Ť | • T | C 15:48, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm offended you chose to just flick away all of those templates. I want to shout this out: Userboxes are BUMPER STICKERS. Stickers are fun because of pretty & unique designs. There is no point in just stating what newspaper I read! Don't throw away boxes, move them to their own subpages. Lotsofissues 01:49, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, just from having a casual look at this page it is hard to see how the deletion of newspaper and publication templates actually helps things, isn't arbitrary considering the number of other media specific templates in existence here. In fact that a user can see that I read the Economist, the Guardian, the NZ Herald, Nature and Science etc. would help inform about the kind of information I make my judgements based around. Obviously the last three were not in existence, but there is every reason to beleive that they would, as the largest circulation daily in NZ and the two of the most widely read and prestigious scientific journals in the world. But that's not going to happen while deletionists push their agendas and make the effort too much of a risk. Mostlyharmless 09:16, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kubrick and Bakshi

[edit]

I added the Kubrick and Bakshi userboxes. If they go over successfully, I might add one for David Lynch, too. (Ibaranoff24 06:18, 18 February 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Coast to Coast AM and Documentaries

[edit]

Can somebody make a C2CAM box (and perhapse some specific ones for Art, Noory, and Punnett fans) for the radio section, and a Documentary box for films? You may also add a Herzog box as well. Thanks. -- 69.248.43.27 08:25, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comedy and BBC Radio

[edit]

I added a template for Green Wing and QI. Do you think it would be a good idea to make a section for comedy on television? Also, I'm adding the other main BBC radio stations. ISD 07:22, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Local Television

[edit]

I have to say -- I have a problem the userboxes in section 5.1.1 -- specifically, the local television stations listed. They're owned by the same company (E.W. Scripps), but I don't know if that necessarily is criteria enough for them to have their own series of boxes. Amnewsboy 14:50, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sub-pages

[edit]

Split this page into sections and moved the content to sub-pages.
Also merged several duplicated lists.
And added the sub-pages to the template. - Jc37 04:02, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Theatre

[edit]

I was surprised there was no userbox for theatre, so I created one at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Media/Theatre. If I didn't do it correctly, please let me know how to fix it. I would like to create more - for drama, comedy, musicals, and the like - but I couldn't find any appropriate images in Wiki Commons and I'm not sure how to upload them. Thank you.
