Notifying you about this new project![edit]

@Jtamad:, Here is a new Cochrane Project Page, inserting new Cochrane evidence into Wikipedia. If you have any feedback or suggestions I would appreciate them. Thanks again for all your help with the Update bot! JenOttawa (talk) 01:13, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

aid[edit]

JenOttawa I accidentally deleted my changes I just made that completed the Alzheimers, Asthma, neonatology, and more sections. How can I get them back? It was a few minutes ago. Sorry! Sbbarker19 (talk) 21:56, 30 January 2018 (UTC) Hi Sbbarker19![reply]

No problem. Everything is archived on WP. If you click the "history" tab when you are on the project page, you can "undue" your own edits. I am not sure what you need to reverse, but I can see you made 3 or 4 different edits since my last edit earlier today. If you need more help, please let me know.
Thanks again, you have been so helpful organizing this page!

Sbbarker19, I just noticed that a few other sections are also gone. Arthritis, etc. I don't need it tonight, and rather than reversing all the work you just did, I will let you take a look and just try to correct the errors. These things happen, especially when we are working with such a large list of PMIDs! Let me know if you need help. Worse case, we can reverse everything back to my last edit. This would just mean that all your work from today would be lost. :( Thanks again for all your help! JenOttawa (talk) 00:25, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
JenOttawa Shoot! That's okay though! Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sbbarker19 (talkcontribs) 19:15, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Integration[edit]

Hi everyone. I wonder if a dedicated evidence base section would be of value in the Wikipedia articles we are trying to integrate Cochrane reviews into. Some of them (e.g. the Orthognathic surgery page) seem to have taken a generalist patient-information leaflet style and broad level of knowledge on the subject. This is good of course but makes it awkward trying to integrate a Cochrane recommendation which sometimes makes a specific recommendation e.g. that antibiotics given for more than one day post-op are more effective in reducing the risk of infection or that certain types of plates are not superior to others. . It just doesn't belong there! Seems to interrupt the flow of the article. Would a separate section do? Thanks. El Mustafa (talk) 20:39, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Shortcut[edit]

A shortcut abbreviation for the project page would be welcome. Charles Matthews (talk) 07:08, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
