I have created the stub article, but with just a single short statement saying what it is. I think we could get started on the article, there should be quite a lot of source material available about the information gathering phase which (except for a "mop up" operation) has just ended. This morning I heard just in passing on the radio that there are census workers in the Eastern Cape that are refusing to hand in completed census forms unless they are paid more. - I received the following reply from StatsSA to an enquiry I sent them a few days ago -

- The 2011 Census results will be launched on the 30th October 2012 and the results will be released shortly thereafter.
