Use <br> and not <br />

The warning section mentioned <br />

I changed it to <br>

In wikitext <br> is the same as <br />, and is much easier to remember and use. Wikitext is not XML or HTML, and so <br /> is not needed. --Timeshifter (talk) 18:37, 30 November 2017 (UTC)

I agree and besides <br> is the standard in HTML5 and it is shorter to write. - Ahunt (talk) 18:39, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
I personally like the XHTML compliant <br/>. It works with wikitext, HTML, HTML5, and XHTML. I don't mind typing an extra character. Yours aye,  Buaidh  01:45, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
