Anglicizing this list via Wikidata labels and descriptions[edit]

As a multilingual professional editor with an interest in Israeli women's biographies, I'm undertaking a linguistic and content improvement of this list, maintaining alphabetic order by first name:

  • Adding English-language labels in Wikidata for currently non-romanized names, plus adding descriptions taken from the existing pages in Hebrew and other source languages
    • names listed in Hebrew
    • names listed in Cyrillic

Through web and archival research, I'll seek out an authoritative romanization of each woman's name - or if none is available, an approximation (to be noted on the item's Wikidata Talk page). Deborahjay (talk) 09:56, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No ListeriaBot update[edit]

This list was last successfully updated by the ListeriaBot on 21 December 2020. During the following seven weeks (as of this writing), numerous update attempts were made and failed with the message: "Killed by OS for overloading memory." As this update was manually requested of the ListeriaBot, I logged the problem on 28 January at a topic on User talk:Magnus Manske. I included several examples (since I can't see where, if anywhere, the multiple failed attempts are logged), such as successful daily updates by ListeriaBot in late January of the matching page in the Italian WP, which has even more data elements - though a recent attempt likewise failed, with the identical error message. Awaiting a fix. -- Deborahjay (talk) 13:43, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE: The ListeriaBot has resumed operation, as seen in the page edit history for 13 and 17 March 2021. -- Deborahjay (talk) 13:06, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
FURTHER UPDATE: The update via ListeriaBot continues to fail with the "Operating System overload" message. According to the page history, the last successful update was on 1 September 2021, i.e. over 9.5 months ago. Following the instructions to report on Github, see:

  • Issue #66 (opened on 4 March 2021) - five comments, no responses
  • Issue #90 (opened on 19 May 2022, referencing Issue #66)

Thus the table is increasingly out of synch with new activity on the relevant Wikidata items and likewise new pages being written for the WiR in the English WP. -- Deborahjay (talk) 13:03, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
