Wildwood is a census-designated place in Hardin and Tyler Counties, Texas, United States. It is part of the BeaumontPort Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Wildwood is actually a community within a community. It is part of the larger unincorporated community of Village Mills, Texas. Wildwood is a gated community with approximately 600 houses, situated around a man-made lake.

Location

Wildwood is located two miles west of the intersection of FM 3063 and US Highway 69.

Recreation

Wildwood has a lake, which provides the opportunity to its residents to enjoy boating, fishing, and water skiing. There is also an 18-hole golf course, a tennis court, baseball field, and basketball court. Residents also enjoy a man-made beach and swimming area. Close to the beach is a small park with playground equipment and picnic tables.

Schools

The Warren Independent School District and Kountze Independent School District serves area students.

Churches

Two churches serve the community. The Wildwood Village Mills United Methodist Church is located just outside the community gate, while Wildwood Baptist Church pastored by Rev Jimmy J. Linn is located inside the gated community.
