This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Cerebellum (talk | contribs) at 12:37, 22 August 2015 (referencing; my source says the population is 25,000). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Yankjah (Arabic ينكجة) is a town in the Tooz District of Salah ad Din Governorate, near the border with Kirkuk Governorate, in northern Iraq, about 100 km from the Iranian border. It has a population of 25,000,[1] mainly from Iraq's Sunni Turkoman ethnic minority.

Yankjah along with Sulaiman Bek and Kifri and Jalawla and Saadia and Kirkuk and Tal Afar make up the largest Turkmen cities in Iraq.
