Yllka Mujo (born 15 October 1953) is an Albanian actress, especially known for her roles in Albanian movies during the communist regime.
Life
The Mujo family moved from Podgorica, Kingdom of Yugoslavia (now Montenegro), to Shkodër during the Monarchist period. Yllka Mujo was born in Tirana, on 15 October 1953. She was given the title of “Maestro of Arts” in recognition to her career in the National Theatre of Albania.
She married, now divorced, Haig Zaharinë (also known as Gjergj Zaharia), and had a son, Amos Muji Zaharia (b. 1987), a film director; and a daughter, Elia Zaharia (b. 1983), an actress and singer who married with Leka, Crown Prince of Albania on 8 October 2016.
