The Yonkers Trot is a harness race for three-year-old trotting standardbreds held at Yonkers Raceway in New York City. In 2008, it was the first leg of the Triple Crown of Harness Racing for Trotters. In 2009, the order of the events was changed and Yonkers Trot became the second leg of the Triple Crown, as it was held on August 29, three weeks after Hambletonian Stakes.[1][2] Originally named the Yonkers Futurity, the mile and 1/16 race was shortened to one mile in 1963.

Due to renovations at Yonkers Raceway, the Yonkers Trot was moved to Hawthorne Race Course in 2004 and Freehold Raceway in 2005. The race returned to Yonkers on November 25, 2006, with Glidemaster winning the race and clinching the Triple Crown.
