You Might Be the Killer is a 2018 meta horror film directed by Brett Simmons.
Premise
A camp counsellor experiencing moments of blackouts finds himself surrounded by murders occurring at the camp. He contacts his horror movie enthusiast friend for advice, and to contend with the idea he may be the killer.

Production
The concept for the film originated in July 2017 between the banter of two writers, Sam Sykes and Chuck Wendig, on Twitter, where they had been discussing the tropes of an atypical slasher film. The idea was then developed into a film to be directed by Brett Simmons, with Sykes and Wendig involved as producers.[1]
Filming was underway in Louisiana by May 2018.[2]
Release
The film debuted at the 2018 Fantastic Fest,[3] and will screen at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.[4]
