The Zegujani oil field is an oil field located in Floreşti, Mehedinţi County. It was discovered in 2005 and developed by Rompetrol. It began production in 2008 and produces oil. The total proven reserves of the Zegujani oil field are around 20 million barrels (2.7×106tonnes), and production is centered on 500 barrels per day (79 m3/d).[2] The oil field has a total surface of 1.800 square kilometres.[1]
