Zgornja Besnica (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnja ˈbeːsnitsa]; German: Oberweßnitz[2]) is a village in the Municipality of Kranj in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.[3]

The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Giles.[4]
