Sport career

Zhong Qianxin (Chinese: 钟倩欣; born May 8, 1990 in Guangzhou) is a Chinese female badminton player who won the Girls Doubles event at the 2007 BWF World Junior Championships at Waitakere City, New Zealand with Xie Jing. They also won the 2008 Asian Junior Badminton Championships. She won her first Grand Prix event at the 2010 Vietnam Open Grand Prix with Ma Jin. Her first major title she won at the 2011 Yonex Open Japan Super Series with Bao Yixin, followed by a final at the Bankaltim Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold 2011 [1] One year later the couple Zhong Qianxin & Bao Yixin won the 2012 Singapore Super Series [2] and the 2012 China Masters Super Series [3] back to back. They also reached the final of the 2012 Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold losing to compatriots Xia Huan & Tang Jinhua and the final of the 2012 India Open Super Series losing to the Korean pair of Jung Kyung-eun & Kim Ha-Na. The couple of Zhong Qianxin & Bao Yixin reached the number 2 spot on the BWF World Ranking for Women's Doubles on January 2013. They won the final of the 2013 U.S. Open Grand Prix Gold, but lost the final of the 2013 Victor China Open Super Series Premier at home to compatriots Wang Xiaoli & Yu Yang.[4]
