She is an opposite hitter. She is married to former Chinese men's national volleyball team memberm Tang Miao. She wears uniform number 7. Her hobbies include music and reading and Zhou is currently studying at Zhejiang University.[1]

Zhou's sports career includes: 1990 volleyball player, Zhejiang Changxing County Sports School 1994 Zhejiang provincial volleyball team 1996 national youth team 1998 national beach volleyball team 1999 national volleyball team 2001–present national team.
