The Zoe Theatre is a historic movie theater located at 209 North Madison Street in Pittsfield, Illinois. The Streamline Moderne style theater opened in 1950. The building's front facade has a flat, minimalist design faced with glass panels. The panels feature a decorative pattern of colored squares, with red squares set in beige ones on an ivory background. A neon marquee projects from the front facade and covers the entrance and box office. The design is notably missing the curved exterior elements common in early Moderne buildings, an indication of modernism's influence on later Moderne works. The theater received an Annual Merit Award in Theatre Catalog's annual design review in 1951; it was one of thirty-six theaters nationwide and two in Illinois to earn the award.[2]

The theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 2, 2013.[1]
