Zolotyi Potik (Template:Lang-uk) is an urban-type settlement in the Buchach Raion (district) of Ternopil Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. Its population is 2,395 as of the 2001 Ukrainian Census.[2]
History
Zolotyi Potik was first founded in 1388 as Zahaipole (Template:Lang-uk). In 1570, the settlement was re-established as Potik. In 1601 Potik re-established as Zolotyi Potik and received Magdeburg rights. In 1984, Zolotyi Potik was granted the status of an urban-type settlement.[2]
