Zoya Afroz, (born January 10, 1994) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Hindi films. She was the winner of Pond's Femina Miss India Indore 2013.[1] She was later crowned as Pond’s Femina Miss India International 2013[2] at the 50th edition of Pond’s Femina Miss India, held at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai on March 24, 2013. However, a few moments after the crowning, her title was replaced from 'Miss India International 2013' to 'Femina Miss India 2013 2nd runner up' and was not sent to Miss International 2013. Instead, Gurleen Grewal, who was Miss Diva 2013 1st runner- up, was selected to represent India at Miss International 2013. She has also worked in numerous films, serials and commercials as a child artist.
Early life and education
Zoya Afroz [3] was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has done her schooling from R N Shah High School, and attended Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai.
Pond's Femina Miss India 2013
Zoya was one of the top 5 finalist of Femina Miss India 2013.[4] She was crowned Miss India International 2013 in this contest by previous year winner Rochelle Maria Rao.
Career
Zoya Afroz got her break with Rasna Mahasearch Contest at the age of 3 after which she did the TV commercial for the same brand. She has also been seen on other TV commercials like Whirlpool, Shoppers stop, Jet Airways, PSPO fan and New York Life Insurance, as a child artist.
She appeared in the films Hum Saath Saath Hain and Kuch Naa Kaho as a child. At the age of 18 she was crowned as the winner of Pond’s Femina Miss India Indore 2013. In addition to acting, Zoya is an active celebrity endorser for several brands and products, including Pond's Face wash.[5][6]
