Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of cymbal manufacturers. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 07:55, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You can delete the link if you see it as spam. I have detected many mistakes in general. I was about to correct another article on Istanbul cymbals. I did not target linking to my web page or something. I just wanted to add that there are more legit companies that manufacture cymbals. Turkey's cymbal sector is not the remainder of the Zildjian family. Turkish cymbals have a unique character, and the sector has very strong cymbal manufacturers.

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Your username

Hi, and thank you for the edits you've made! I'm afraid your username is not appropriate for this project, as appears to be or to represent the name of a website, peloteksourcing.com. Please choose a different name for your account, and either request a change here or simply leave a note on this page, your user talk-page. I should see that, and will make the change for you (provided the name you choose is available and appropriate!). Your username should represent you as an individual, but does not need to be or resemble your real name. Thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 08:26, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I was writing this when your account was blocked. If you choose a suitable new username as above, I'll discuss with Secretlondon whether the block can be lifted – you've already shown that you are capable of making useful edits to the project (though you'll need to read up on references fairly soon!). Thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 08:26, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the kind reply.
My main purpose was not advertising, but I understand your point. My name is Sule Miktatoglu, and I worked as a project expert in the Izmir Union of Chambers and the Izmir Governorship before. I prepared hundreds of reports and EU projects on Turkish manufacturing sectors. I have a lot to say, especially for the sectors that Turkiye is really strong in (carpets, white goods, appliances, drones, food industry, handicrafts, etc.). Actually, I have very detailed reports with academic citations for other sectors, but for only this post, Cymbal Manufacturers, I detected mistakes and wanted to add my link. I will be happy if you change my username to "Sule1975". Or you may update the information without my link. Have a nice day. Pelotek (talk) 08:41, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
