Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, ASKechris, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Drmies (talk) 01:07, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regrets

Hi ASKechris,

I regret how this interaction has gone. I probably should have spent more time helping you find a way of requesting a name-change without an e-mail. It's a little more complicated now, but you can still do that (see the numbered steps in the yellow box above), or you can simply register a new account with a username according to policy, and edit from that account. In most cases, people who are blocked are not supposed to simply start a new account, but in your case it's OK because there is no misconduct involved — it's only the name of your account that was a problem.

Anyway, sorry for the unpleasant beginning, and I encourage you to continue with Wikipedia. --Trovatore (talk) 04:57, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, there's a company called JustLogin, so you'll need to pick a different username. Yamla (talk) 14:16, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That username is already in use. If that's you, you can just go ahead and use that account. Note that, as that account has already been registered, there's no way to "assign all my edits to my new user name". Yamla (talk) 15:32, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).

Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un on hold | 1=blocking administrator | 2=BTZorbas | 4=~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=BTZorbas | accept=Allowing username change to requested username. Please select an option from [[Wikipedia:Changing username]] and file a request as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, replacing {{subst:Decline reason here}} with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=BTZorbas | decline={{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

I did not understand your rules. I thought that a new user account shall be created. I've retired the justUserNameAndSurname account. Please, try BTZorbas--ASKechris (talk) 23:21, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
