GNR Large boiler Class C1[edit]

Hi; I've fixed up the infobox that you added to this article; I spotted the parameter |totalproduction=22 which looked suspicious; so I checked my books:

  • Groves, Norman (1990). Great Northern Locomotive History: Volume 3a 1896-1911 The Ivatt Era. Lincoln: RCTS. pp. 163 et seq., 188 et seq. ISBN 0 901115 69 X.
  • Boddy, M.G.; Brown, W.A.; Fry, E.V.; Hennigan, W.; Hoole, K.; Manners, F.; Neve, E.; Platt, E.N.T.; Russell, O. (1979). Fry, E.V. (ed.). Part 3A: Tender Engines - Classes C1 to C11. Locomotives of the L.N.E.R. Kenilworth: RCTS. pp. 6 et seq., 51 et seq. ISBN 0 901115 45 2. {{cite book}}: Unknown parameter |month= ignored (help)

and I believe that you took the figures from LNER Class C2 (the small boiler class), not class C1. It's an easy mistake: the GNR referred to both series as C1. --Redrose64 (talk) 20:48, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that, the book I was used has a few typos in and I did wonder at the time wether it was right. 7800Evans (talk) 17:16, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Bridgnorth Yard.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Bridgnorth Yard.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 20:15, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Great Bear[edit]

Your problem here was a missing pipe; the pipe "|" separates the parameters of a template. Most editors using multi-line templates put such pipes at the beginning of each line, but a few put them at the ends instead. It doesn't actually matter, so long as it's consistent; but arguments against the pipes-at-end form include that they're easily forgotten (as you seem to have done), misplaced or deleted by those unaware of their importance. Too many pipes will only cause a bot to clean up; too few causes parameters to be misinterpreted. Try this:

trailingdiameter=3ft 8in |
rebuiltdate=1924 |
retiredate=July 1953 |
