I'm doing research on Newton County, Arkansas. If anyone has information about this county, please share it with me.
Thanks, Denys
User stub pages:
/James Theodore Richmond
/Maude Duncan
- Both of those are great starts on notable bios-may we move them out into Wikispace? Chris 06:31, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks Chris! The Maude Duncan could be moved as a stub I guess. I have a lot more changes I want to make on the Ted Richmond article. I've written an entry on him for the Encyclopedia of Arkansas (http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.org) and have more information to add to the wiki article here. Dennis 04:34, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi there,
If you're intending to rewrite this article from scratch, the best thing to do is just to edit the page, delete the existing content and re-edit it (preferably in the same edit, since it's best not to have blank pages cluttering wikipedia for any length of time). If you still want to delete the article then one way to do it is to propose deletion - put a tag that reads something like '{{prod|Article should be deleted pending a rewrite}}' or whatever reason you have for requesting deletion. That takes 5 days. There is Speedy deletion with a tag reading something like '{{db|Page author requests page deleted, [[User:Aim Here]] doesn't contest the deletion}}' in there. It's faster but I'm not sure it'd work, since it's intended for situations where the page has only one author. Whichever you choose (I recommend the first option) good luck! --Aim Here 21:06, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:General public.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:General public.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:51, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
