Major League Baseball deaths[edit]

I added a few names to your list. I like the new category, so I helped you out by adding Ferguson, Thake, and McKinnon. I did not added James Creighton, Jr., due to the fact that he died before the beginning of the National Association, however I did/will added National Association players, though not officially recognized as a Major League, the players are considered Major League players.Neonblak (talk) 15:17, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I only went back as far as 1900. Some are really borderline, like whether Urban Shocker was "active" at the time. Then there's Donnie Moore: he died after he was released by Kansas City, but technically was he still under contract then? Jimpoz (talk) 20:00, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There were definately some borderline players I left off as well, if it was clear that they were released or retired before they died, then I didn't include them.
