Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Do you like trains? Someone certainly does. I recently blocked one of these accounts, basically per WP:CIR. While looking through the various drafts they edited I stumbled onto all this. I'm not sure this is all of them. The behavioral evidence is pretty much immediately obvious, they didn't really even try to hide it, I doubt they even think they did anything wrong. Would like a sleeper check, they seem to casually create accounts and abandon them if they get any scrutiny, or even if they don't. I've been deleting a lot of the drafts, but the edit history of those drafts is where a lot of the obvious connections come in. I have also just discovered that at User talk:Locomotive 0-6-0 they copped to a bunch of these accounts already. Just to be perfectly clear: I have not myself used CU at all here as of right now. The three IPs were behaviorally obvious and geolocate to the area General electric p30ch self-identified as their location. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:35, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Pink clock Awaiting administrative action - Please block the lot, with the exception of the likely account (not enough edits to make a determination there) – I'm convinced by behaviour, usernames and overlap for the stale ones ([1][2]). Leaving the IPs alone since none have recently edited. Thanks. --Blablubbs|talk 06:30, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

New account created shortly after User:General electric p30ch was indef blocked. Both share a contribution history around railways and especially Thomas the Tank Engine articles ([3]). Most telling, I had a long history with User:General electric p30ch on their talk page. I had never interacted with User:EnLarissais, when they asked this question on my talk page. This refers to this edit by General Electric where they "change on a draft the decliner's name if I see that this draft can't be published" - which is exactly what EnLarissais asked to do. That cannot be a coincidence. I believe User:EnLarissais is a new account being used for block evasion by User:General electric p30ch. Laplorfill (talk) 14:46, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

User:Xxx anon has been creating a large number of sockpuppets. Most recently User:General electric p30ch named after their "favorite locomotive". The sockpuppets are characterized by adding unsourced information to railroad articles, creating templates for railroad maps and drafts about railroad subdivisions. A day ago, User:BNSF DJ was created, named after his favourite railroad. BNSF has picked up editing Draft:CSX Chicago Heights Subdivision which General Electric created. They have also created a new railroad template, and map template. Seems an obvious sockpuppet of this indef blocked user. Laplorfill (talk) 05:13, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

They all geolocate to the same area and are on the same range. User agent is common, hence the "likely" ruling. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:29, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
