Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

All accounts have extensive edit histories promoting two main subjects (with some examples) include:

Feloniii's, Aflantwo's, AlexMawi's, Vilty's TP histories show AfC or deletion notifications for these articles, as well as the consequent page blanking behavior common to each account. Feloniii was warned about abusing multiple accounts in relation to Vilty on June 24; while Vilty's habit of mass adding short descriptions (and general editing) stopped on June 30, Feloniii's and AlexMawi's habits have continued. Another habit is appending an extra username following their signatures; here are examples by Aflantwo, Feloniii, AlexMawi, and Rewmad (on trwiki).

The accounts have also made global edits that directly relate to their activities on this project, though not as prolific as their activity here. These edits mainly include creating stub-like machine translations of the above articles or removing deletion tags from them. Rewmad has created the article on w:tr:Shahram Jazayeri, an Iranian businessman whose articles have been extensively edited on this project by Aflantwo, AlexMawi and Feloniii, and on fawiki by Aflantwo, AlexMawi, Feloniii, and Vilty. Feloniii has also created w:ur:حبیب_آل_جلیل (Habib Alejalil) on urwiki. Rewmad's second edit on urwiki, done four hours after account creation, was to remove a deletion tag on that article, giving an English-language edit summary: "Not valid, problem fixed by removing from other wiki's". – Aranya (talk) 15:40, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am endorsing the request made by Aranya, because when I was discussing with AlexMawi (talk · contribs) –who wrongly insisted Shahram Jazayeri "got full innocence [sic]" [1] or برائت– another user, Fred575s (talk · contribs) came out of the blue and made the same argument in this edit summary in Persian (note that the word "برائت" is used again). I would also suggest you to consider these two identical edits made by AlexMawi and Fred575s. Pahlevun (talk) 08:21, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Defense Hi guys, first of all, I must say the Shahram Jazayeri is a famous guy in Iran like bill gates in Iran and that can be the accidentally, we have the same subject on Babak Zanjani too, for this account Orginizedcrime12 (talk · contribs) I should say the edit is for 2007 and in that year I was 10 years old and I even wasn't know what's WP at that age, second, the vandalism was made by 91.73.233.15 (talk · contribs) (IP is from UAE) and I undo that edit and I guess Pahlevun is connected on that IP so I undo that too but it can be related to Mehrnoosh_jz (talk · contribs) because of this edite the word of Mehr is first of Mehrnoosh but it's just probability and admins should check the IP. I create/translate more than 50 articles on Fa.WP and I trying to help to become 1 million article and after this, I just focus there. about accounts, you can check this edite the IP address which is From Istanbul but admins can check my IP and it's 600km between 2 accounts! admins can see with which IP I created this account and I'm using now, still from Ankara.Feloniii ❯❯❯ Talk 12:55, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Endorse I am not an admin or an expert on user behavior but I want to say something about Feloniii.
After seeing some odd behavior AfD-ing notable women, I checked his contributions to see what else he was doing. The "Feloniii" account was created in 2017 by somebody experienced enough that the first two edits were moving scripts to common.js. The account lay unused from June 2018 to June 2020, when Feloniii started adding shortdescs to many articles. As soon as he reached 2000 edits, Felonii on July 30 asked to become a Pending Changes Reviewer, which Anarchyte refused, pointing out that the great bulk of those 2000 edits are just shortdesc helper.
Then, also on July 30, Felonii started some non-shortdesc edits -- like this for example -- eventually AfDing 3 apparently random articles about notable women and defending his actions. Maybe someone more experienced than I can see a pattern here, but it doesn't look like a normal editor. Also the username Feloniii, like the username OrganizedCrime12, suggests he is NOTHERE to build an encyclopedia. HouseOfChange (talk) 14:52, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @HouseOfChange: I didn't use to edit WP because it was blocked in Turkey for near 2 years and it was not possible to edit with proxy, so I didn't use to edit for near 2 years. For short description I can say it can help the WP, it's importing to the Wikidata and that can help when the article creating in other languages, I guess it's not problem to do 2000 edit like this when it's helping the WP! I requested for pending change reviewer and it's refused because of my small edits and I guess everyone can request for that and it's doesn't matter when refusing. Of course OrganizedCrime12 is not related me, as I said, at 2007 I was 10 years old, and my parent gave me the permission to use internet at the age of 12!!!!Feloniii ❯❯❯ Talk 15:57, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • There's some obvious proxy use here. Rewmad, in particular, is exclusively on a proxy. The others seem to use proxies occasionally. Aflantwo, AlexMawi, and Fred575s are  Confirmed to each other. Feloniii and Vilty are  Likely to that group, but it's possible that they're meat puppets. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 09:08, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @NinjaRobotPirate: based on your report, I've tagged AlexMawi, Aflantwo, and Fred575s as confirmed and Vilty and Feloniii as suspect. I guess technically this should get renamed to Feloniii, but I'll hold off doing that until you confirm. -- RoySmith (talk) 20:44, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Well, nobody is confirmed to Vilty. Like I said, Vilty is "likely" to that group. The members of that group are only confirmed to each other, not to anyone else.
