Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I noticed you are known only as an IP address; that means you are not signed up. To sign up, you only need to click Create account and choose a username and password. You don't need to provide any personal information. If you sign up, you'll have a username that others can use to recognize you and leave you messages on the wiki. You'll be able to sign your name just by typing four tildes (~~~~) when you leave someone else a message. Plus, you (and others) will easily be able to see a list of all your contributions to Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, ask at the Village pump, or feel free to ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Jorcoga 09:18, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Mattiasnorstrom.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:Image:Mattias Norstrom.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all MediaWiki wiki's. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[Image:Mattias Norstrom.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 21:53, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:OntarioPeakfromSunsetPeak.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 08:21, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nice picture. If it's you work then just pick a free licence template like {{Cc-by-3.0}} and stick in on the page. Drop a note on my talk page if you want to authorize me to do it.  –droll [chat] 05:26, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
