Please fix your signature

Hi, re this edit - please fix your signature, because it's unreadable. It shows as four squares with hex codes inside; an external analyser shows that these symbols are U+16D2 U+16A8 U+16CA U+16D6 U+16CF U+16A8 U+16DA U+16B2. Thank you. --Redrose64 (talk) 13:09, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Redrose64: Just update your Windows 95 or Firefox 3.6 to something more modern and things would become much better. :) --ᛒᚨᛊᛖ (ᛏᚨᛚᚲ) 15:13, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have Windows XP and Firefox 26. But it is bad practice to make assumptions about the operating system and browser of other users: see also WP:NOSYMBOLS. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:10, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Redrose64: It's just that Firefox since 4.0 can easily use fonts for any Unicode characters. And yeah it's 2014 so we are in Unicode epoch and for quite many years already. Epoch of ASCII was ages ago. The manual you linked probably is for article texts, not signatures as it says to use images with alts instead but images are prohibited in signatures. --ᛒᚨᛊᛖ (ᛏᚨᛚᚲ) 17:12, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Again, please fix your signature. Your last response to this request was condescending and inappropriate and showed a complete disregard for the issue. Your signature does not display at all on mobile or desktop and it is not merely an problem for people with outdated operating systems or browsers. The purpose of a signature is to identify yourself as an editor and the simple fact is that in its current form it is not serving its purpose. Please resolve this issue so that the community in general can identify you by your signature, not merely the people whose software setup happens to work with your custom sig. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited World Network of Biosphere Reserves in Asia and the Pacific, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Snake Island. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:24, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I perfectly know what disambiguations are and add links to them only when I am unable to disambiguate term myself but link is desirable. As in this case. Thus opted-out. I do realise I am responding to a bot, I am doing it for the sake of the log. --ᛒᚨᛊᛖ (ᛏᚨᛚᚲ) 12:45, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I was looking for some small help.Recently I created a new article en:Kithaab i.e. es:Kithaab-a play about women rights issues- which has been copy edited and is ready for translation in various languages.

Looking for your possible help in translating the article en:Kithaab es:Kithaab to your language ru: & uk: Wikipedia. If you are unable to spare time yourself then may be you like to refer the same to some other translator to get it translated in their own respective languages.

Thanking you , with warm regards

Bot

Was looking at your userpage here for some reason and noticed you said the bot was blocked. I unblocked because we'd never do that these days. Not that it matters, but I think that was extremely dumb for them to do, so may as well make it right :) TonyBallioni (talk) 04:09, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
