I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Icbss, does not meet our username policy. Usernames which relate to real world organizations and groups are disallowed
What can I do now?

You are still welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, though you will need to do so under another username. Please choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. However, do not create a new account if you wish to credit your existing contributions to a new name through a username change. To request a username change:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to edit this talk page even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a list of names that have already been taken. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
Am I allowed to edit about my company, its products or its clients under my new username?

Probably not. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, you should consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:40, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
