NOlympics LA is a coalition of community organizations that opposes staging the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
The group formed in 2017 in the Democratic Socialists of America[1] and has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Washington Post, USA Today, ESPN, Associated Press, Reuters, NPR, The Daily Beast, Asahi Shimbun, The Japan Times, The Nation, Vice, Mother Jones, The New Republic, Jacobin, Teen Vogue, and Deadspin. NOlympics LA is the focus of Jules Boykoff's book NOlympians: Inside the Fight Against Capitalist Mega-Sports in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Beyond.
IOC Press Conference Disruption
On May 12, 2021, NOlympics LA disrupted an International Olympic Committee press conference.
