Appearance
Apley is a hamlet in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on a back road 1 mile (1.6 km) west from the hamlet of Kingthorpe, and approximately 2 miles (3 km) south-west from Wragby,
Apley church is dedicated to St Andrew.
Apley Beck marks the course of a 12th-century monastic canal linking Bullington Priory to Barlings eau.[1]
Kingthorpe railway station opened in 1876, closed in 1956, and has been demolished. No evidence of the site remains.[2][3]
Kingthorpe farmhouse is a listed building[4]
