Rebellious forces is more accurate to say, implies possibility of multiple groups than specifically saying rich citizenry (source?), they were the bulk, but not the only ones. It is mentioned that the French occupying governor Jacques de Chatillon had a disdain for the lower class which also led to tensions, indicating that the lower class is also involved in part. undo

The words 'quickly reversed by the French' and 'Flemish were forced to pay the French substantial tribute' speak for themselves. These words are inapproriate and unnecessary. undo
  • curprev 10:1810:18, 29 January 2021Jules Agathias talk contribs 29,523 bytes +30 Solely and arbitrarily editing Flemish battles isn't exactly a paragon of objectivity. Historians describing battles or events as humiliating or decisive is common place and in no way violates wikipedia guidelines. "Decisive" is simply not to be used to describe the result of a battle in the infobox as per the rules. Furthermore, I do not understand how "undecisive" is any more neutral than "decisive" as the previous editor implies. This is pretty odd. undo Tags: Manual revert Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
