The Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering is the engineering college at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) located in Pomona, California, United States. The college was established in 1957 and has an active enrollment of 4,500 students in seven academic departments. It graduates one of every 14 engineers in the state of California.[7]

The college has become increasingly selective in recent years and most of its departments are currently declared impacted (hold higher standards for admissions). In 2010, the college admitted 44.4% of its total applicants who held an average GPA of 3.54 (unweighted) and SATs of 1150 (out of 1600), making the college admissions process statistically comparable to some University of California campuses. In its 2012 edition, U.S. News & World Report College Rankings list the college 16th nationally among all master's universities in the United States (both public and private).
