A child superhero is a fictional character who is noted for feats of courage and nobility, and who usually has a colorful name, costume, and abilities beyond those of normal young human beings. As with real children, the term refers to characters who are understood to be under age 21 during the course of a book, story, film or episode in which they are depicted.
In the case of characters who mature to adulthood in the course of the story, articles should only be included in these subcategories if the character's childhood experiences form a notable part of the story.
